This analysis was done by Jason Goldberg and Vincent Liao using publicly available data.
We set out to analyze Farcaster Caster Activation
- For this analysis we only considered casting. Other analyses might also consider other user engagement metrics such a likes or follows.
- We focused on casting because our hypothesis is that for a content-based social network to thrive, there needs to be a consistent supply of content created by a growing number of regular participants.
- Casting includes all original casts and replies. It does not include recasts.
